I’m always surprised by the lack of fresh graphic novels on our shelves. Sure, you’ve got the classics such as Y: The Last Man and The Walking Dead on their 12 and 13th volume, but what of new additions to the genre? Here’s one that Wired brought to my attention today. Taking their cue from Max Brooks – World War Z (interviews with people involved in the Zombie War), Andi Ewington has published a Graphic Novel of fictional interviews with Super-Heroes. A nice idea in my opinion. What makes the project even more unique is that each of the forty five pages of art that accompany the interviews have been illustrated by different artists, with no predetermined brief given, and just using the accompanying interview text for inspiration.
