Oscar Nominations – Who do you think will win?

by Venntertainment on February 2, 2010

So…the nominations are in! In my view, nothing shocking here. Obviously, I’m delighted that Tarantino has got a nomination for Inglourious Basterds – I just loved that movie. Also, some great news for the Irish with a nomination for The Secret of Kells in the animated categoryand Granny O’Grimm in the animated shorts category. Brilliant also to see movies like District 9 getting a mention and of course Up in the Air.

Cameron has done it again with Avatar. Even though it’s all so predictable, you gotta give the guy some credit. Everything he touches turns to Gold.

I’ve highlighted who I WANT to win an Oscar. Obviously, we don’t always get what we want, but it would be nice! Let’s hear your thoughts on who should win an Oscar.

As much as I’m a huge Cameron fan,
I would love to see Katherine Bigelow win the directing oscar.
The irony would be amazing:)

Stanley Tucci for best supporting
and Jeremy Renner for best Actor

Eventhough Inglorious Basterds will probably win best original screenplay I am
holding out hope that the hurt locker or up will take it
A serious man?????????? Really??

The Academy should just marry the Coen brothers and get it over with.
