Myself and Conor over at Connector.ie have been sampling some excellent food in recent weeks in return for some honest critique online. We’ve teamed up with the crew at Truvo.ie and I’ve been using this as the forum for posting my thoughts on the places that we’ve had lunch and dinner.
To clarify, we’ve received nothing but some good food in return for honest critique.
Truvo is a new site that has been set up by the innovative folk at Golden Pages and is a really useful way to review and check out potential restaurants, bars and other interesting places.
So, where have I been?
It all began with a meal in Saba which I reviewed here and here.
To start with, we’ve visited a number of great burger joints around the city. Myself and Conor had a lovely dinner in the Gourmet Burger Co in Ranelagh. My thanks go to Johnathon and Rachel for hosting us that night. We also had a Connector.ie lunch in Jo’Burger, Rathmines and were treated to some great Thai Green Curry Burgers and Ginger Ale. I managed to miss another Connector lunch in the Gourmet Burger Kitchen, which Conor has reviewed here.
Last Friday we met at a very quiet Sam Sara restaurant on Dawson St and I met some lovely folk there for some nice food. Conor also has a post on this here.
You can view my Truvo profile here and I’ll be adding more and more restaurants as I eat. Hopefully my tummy isn’t going to suffer for this
